Here are some end users that bought domain names over the past week.
Finding end user sales at Sedo was a bit tough this week, but not because of a lack of overall sales. Sedo handled another $2 million in domain transactions during the week.
The company also handled some nice new TLD sales as well: Casino.live for $5,000, i.company for $2,150 and Mind.plus for $2,000. I struck my first deal to sell a new TLD on Sedo about a week ago, but it appears the buyer has disappeared. Oh well, it wasn’t for much money, anyway.
OK, let’s get to the end user sales for the past week:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
Vouch.org $2,100 – Vouch is a browser add-on that automatically finds the best coupon and applies it to your shopping cart. If it works, that’s pretty cool.
MotoMe.com $2,500 – Investment firm Macquarie. This might have to do with the British gas station company Moto.
PureHaven.com $3,650 – Ava Anderson Non Toxic, a maker of products without harmful chemicals, is changing its name.
Conversable.com £10,000 – looking at their splash page, I’m not sure what the company will do. Marketing? Online commerce?
Shanthi.com €4,500 – Software developer IonIdea, Inc. is doing something with this domain name. I’m just not sure what.
ParkourGames.com $2,000 – the buyer created a site of online parkour (i.e. running) games.
RetirementMortgages.co.uk £2,000 – The buyer, an individual in the UK, specializes in mortgages for retired people.
MedicalSpa.de €2,500 – Dr. Juliane Bodo operates a medical spa in Berlin.
Bankster.com $20,000 – Googling the buyer’s name doesn’t pull up much. A reverse whois on DomainIQ shows that he owns a number of other banking domains, including banksterfinance.com and banksterbank.com.
BuzFeed.com €3,998 – I’m including this one because it does not appear that the popular site BuzzFeed acquired the domain. It’s pointing to a different news site.
eHealthResearch.com $3,000 – Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine (NST) split into two parts in January, one regional and one national part. The national section has been named Norwegian Centre for eHealth Research.

Buzfeed.com – interesting purchase.
Shanthi means peace in my native language (Telugu).

“Pure Haven” is an improvement on “Ava Anderson” simply because personal names are difficult to remember. Yet they’ve actually preserved the sound of the founder’s name, “Ava”, within the word “Haven”. That I like. Wonder if it was intentional or subliminal …
BuzFeed.com won’t last long if it’s being used by a competing site to siphon off typo traffic from BuzzFeed.com.
