Topic tables, networking and a wine bar greet attendees on Sunday.
I typically get to Las Vegas for NamesCon on Sunday evening, and I’ve already booked the same travel for this year. Now that I’ve taken a closer look at the schedule, I regret the timing. If you haven’t booked your travel yet, try to get there earlier.
Sunday, January 10 might be the most informative day for conference-goers. Multiple topic tables will be set up from noon to 6 pm, giving people the chance to chat with experts about everything from responding to domain name offers to leasing a domain name. You can even chat with lawyers that aren’t billing you.
Network Lane will be open at the same time. At Network Lane, exhibitors have a hightop table and a retractable banner. This is similar to Affiliate Summit’s “Meet Market” and TechCrunch Disrupt’s “Startup Alley”.
To top if off, Donuts will be hosting a .Wine Bar complete with a sommelier. (Unfortunately, I don’t believe it’s Kellie Peterson.)
If there’s any consolation to missing Sunday, the .Wine Bar is scheduled to return on Tuesday.
Hopefully, NamesCon will extend some of Sunday’s events to other days the following year if they are successful.
Any day is a good day when you are in Vegas!

Was planning on arriving on Sunday evening as well, but think I’ll switch it up and arrive on Saturday now. Just too much content added on Sunday to miss out on.
Ha. Love it. I saw the .Wine bar and immediately wished I was getting in earlier. Happily it’s also going on Monday afternoon. If anyone is looking for me during those hours, you’ll know where to find me. 🙂
Sunday is going to be awesome. That’s why I’m arriving on Saturday and am booking meetings with folks starting Saturday afternoon. Anyone wishing to book a meeting with me at NamesCon Saturday to Wednesday is invited to email ‘contact at nameninja.com’ and one of my team members will try to schedule a time. See you in Vegas!
After the new gtlds all go down in flames, it will be remembered as the .whine bar.
