CXOs at .XYZ have invested $8.6 million in Rightside.
First it was Frank Schilling. Now two other domain name industry insiders are disclosing ownership in publicly traded domain name company Rightside.
.XYZ founder and CEO Daniel Negari and COO Mike Ambrose disclosed a combined 5.2% ownership in Rightside today in an SEC filing. The disclosure is mandated because they now own more than 5% of the company.
Negari paid about $4.5 million for his 2.7% stake in the company, representing 511,885 shares. He paid an average of $8.80 per share including brokerage fees.
Ambrose paid about $4.1 million for his 2.5% stake in the company, representing 469,157 shares. He is invested at an average of $8.68 per share including fees.
Shares are currently trading for $7.89, so both are underwater on their investments.
Frank Schilling disclosed a 5.5% stake in the company last month.
Do you know how much Frank paid for %5.5 stake?
I’m not entirely sure. His October filing shows that Frank owns just over 1 million shares, and says between July 30 and September 30 he acquired 481k shares at an average price of $7.13. I don’t know why the SEC reporting is different.
Good investments by Daniel & Frank, IMO. Good luck guys, and to Taryn and team!
