Sedo leads effort to spread awareness of new domain name options at large conference in Germany.
New top level domain names are getting lots of exposure at this week’s dmexco digital marketing conference in Cologne, Germany.
Sedo has a large booth themed after Times Square, with top level domain names filling in the signage. As with last year’s dmexco, Sedo is also offering frozen yogurt. The toppings are all named after domain names, and visitors must ask for the toppings by name (e.g. ask for .Club on top when they want chocolate chips).
The company had a similar frozen yogurt bar at SXSW in Austin this year, and it enabled the company to have conversations with thousands of people about new domain name offerings.
Some of the registries participating with Sedo at dmexco this year are BostonIvy, Donuts, Top Level Spectrum (.feedback), Minds+Machines, .Club and Rightside.
