Idea sounds a lot like zero click monetization.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office just published a Google patent application related to domain name parking.
Named Systems and Methods of Providing Parked Domain Content, application 13/631472 (embedded below) should give pause to providers of zero click domain monetization solutions.
Essentially, the patent application describes a system in which a total advertising value is assigned to a parked page. An advertiser can then bid to be the exclusive content provider for the parked page. If the bid beats the total value, then the exclusive content is displayed.
I read this as zero click advertising. In zero click systems, an advertiser can bid to redirect a visitor from a parked page to his site. If the bid is higher than the value the parking company assigns to the visitor for traditional monetization (e.g. pay-per-click ads), then the visitor is redirected.
Of course, Google could be thinking about displaying content directly on a domain name. Perhaps an YouTube user would be willing to pay to have their video shown when someone visits a relevant domain name.
The patent application was filed in 2012 and published by the USPTO today.

Google just filed those patents after competition started to do zero-click.
Patent trolling at it’s finest, from America’s finest do no evil corporation.
Its our internet! says
I will bet after Google and yahoo file and get their parking page patents approved they will soon miraculously find an extremely effective way to stop click fraud! Business is business they are not evil they are just doing what benefits them. If you believe google cares about advertisers and publishers before its own business, than your probably the same type of person that believe a used car salesman is genuine when he says you come first. Google says user experience comes first, but that is not always the case. Small time publishers collectively rules the internet and now that advertising costs have gone up ten fold, its going to be a good time for offline advertising especially for local advertisers. people asking if .com will be here in 10 or 20 years. Use common sense people .com will still be around long after google is gone.
