ICANN has published the latest Verisign .com monthly report, containing data from February.
Let’s start by reviewing which registrars added the most new .com domain name registrations:
1. GoDaddy 912,763*
2. Rightside 203,096**
3. Tucows 106,910
4. PublicDomainRegistry 92,847
5. Network Solutions 62,104
When it comes to companies that won the transfer game, here are the top five registrars with retail operations for February. These numbers are the net gains after taking into consideration transfers-out:
1. eNom +14,150**
2. Uniregistry +12,332
3. Google +8,078
4. Epik +6,671
5. GMO/Onamae.com +5,439
Here are the registrars that lost the most to transfers, offset by the number of inbound transfers:
1. Melbourne IT -14,379
2. GoDaddy -11,868*
3. Moniker -11,387
4. Network Solutions -8,945
5. Tucows -8,214
*Includes GoDaddy and Wild West Domains **Includes eNom and Name.com, but not dropcatching registrars.
Google storage does not allow to pay in Euros, I hope this changes with Google Domains: I won’t migrate my domains To Google Domains unless I can pay in Euros.
