ccTLD owners, a bank and plastic company all make purchases at Sedo.
Sedo handled 674 domain name transactions last week for $1.2 million in sales. 56% of sales were buy-now prices, which is a bit higher than usual.
There were a number of good sales, including a handful of ccTLD owners that bought the matching .com domain name. A real estate investor who also invests in domain names was responsible for the top purchase of BuyMyHouse.com.
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
BuyMyHouse.com $45,000 – Kristia Soener, a Nebraska entrepreneur and real estate investor bought this domain name. Her LinkedIn profile also describes her as a domain investor, but I would classify this as an end user domain sale for sure.
TakeTheChance.com $15,000 – purchased by the owner of TakeTheChance.at, which has not been set up yet.
EasyFlyer.com €12,000 – French printing company EasyFlyer, which uses the domain name EasyFlyer.fr.
123Logistics.com $10,000 – Logintrans, a freight and logistics company in Poland.
VPCO.com $7,140 – Vapor Corp, a publicly traded e-cigarette company. VPCO is the company’s ticker. It has a market cap of around $30 million.
BizRunner.com $6,500 – A Utah company called Residual Income Technologies bought this domain name. It appears to be for a marketing service for network marketers, aka multi-level marketing.
EraseMe.com $4,999 – Eraseme International is a company that tries to remove negative information about you from the web. Its main domain name is Eraseme.no.
Extraco.com $3,888 – Extraco Banks, a bank in Texas. It uses ExtracoBanks.com for its website.
RutlandGroup.com $2,744 – Rutland Plastic Technologies, Inc. in North Carolina.
GreenStick.com €2,000 – GreenPriz, a company in the eco/green management space.
Camper-Vans.com €2,000 – Reimo Reisemobil-Center GmbH, seller of RVs and camper vehicles. This company bought Camper-van.co.uk for €1,000 last week.
MauiSnuba.com $1,995 – Marine Charters Inc., which offers snorkeling and diving tours in Maui. “Snuba” is a combination of snorkeling and scuba.
SilverGoldStore.com $1,350 – Silver Gold Bull Inc in Calgary bought this domain name.
Studentalent.com $1,300 – Another ccTLD owner bought a .com. Studentalert uses the Netherlands domain name StudentAlert.nl.
Nobivac.cn $1,000 – Drug maker Merck. This is the name of Merck’s Animal Health (e.g. veterinarian) group.
AmericanBreweries.com $899 – Norwegian Breweries must be coming to America.
Rotster.com $888 – CitizenHawk bought this domain name on behalf of Endurance International Group. I’m not familiar with the EIG brand that this must be a typo of. Doh! I was dimwitted on this one. It’s a typo of Dotster. Thanks Jonny.

Reg. TakeTheChance.com..
Buyer was very probably our national austrian tv channel called ORF (orf.at) as they are running a talent show called “Die große Chance” (“The big Chance”) every year here but looking to create a new spin off talent show based on this one..
They haven’t come up with a name yet according to the latest news here in Austria, but this sale makes me think they finally have decided on this one..
ps: Thanks for pointing out this interesting (to me) sale!
