.Green domain names are available this month after a long journey.
The .Green top level domain name comes out this month. In this episode, DotGreen Community CEO Annalisa Roger discusses the long road to .green and how she hopes companies, groups and individuals will use the domain name.

It seems like the .green extension is fairly exclusive the exact opposite end user’s its supposed to attract. I definitly wouldn’t want to go looking for green info and com across a McDonalds or say, Wal-Mart website. And the price? Seems to exclude most green businesses I know. It’s great for the greenwashing of corporations. Or should we say washing.green?

That exact issue is discussed on the podcast. The companies that can have the most impact are the ones that have the longest way to go to become green.
