TV network among end user domain name buyers at Sedo last week.
Sedo had a lot of five figure sales last week that are still in escrow, meaning I can’t see who bought the domains yet. Most of them are likely end users given the price tags and domains.
Still, I uncovered 17 end user domain names sales. This includes TV network TNT, which bought the domain name TNTBoom.com related to its new slogan.
Here’s the list, and you can view previous end user sales lists here.
CamdenRenaissance.com $1,895 – Camden Development, Inc., and apartment company.
Travelmation.com $1,595 – Travel technology company Trondent Development Corp.
HelloPrint.co.uk 5,000 EUR – Print Ocean BV
TNTBoom.com $1,595 – Television network TNT, which recently changed its tagline to “TNT Drama. Boom.”
qSpider.com $925 – Web services company Quantum Spider
PearlMist.com $2,195 – Pearl Seas Cruises, which has a ship called Pearl Mist.
Caboo.com 3,300 EUR – Caboo Learning in Great Britain.
Logiqs.com $1,999 – Maker of the IRS Logics tax software program
CSWebDesign.com $1,250 – Austin web design firm CS Web Design.
iHRIS.com $1,195 – Flex, a benefits administrator. HRIS stands for Human Resources Information System.
Onyo.com $5,000 – California company Onyo, Inc. I can’t find any information about them online.
WalterCapital.com $2,095 – Walter Investment Management Corporation
CertifiedCrane.com $977 – Certified Crane Service, LLC in South Carolina. It uses the longer domain CertifiedCraneService.com/net.
MiamiGastro.com $2,400 – Miami Gastroenterology Consultants, PA upgraded from the matching .org.
TheScore.in $2,500 – Sports media company theScore Inc, which uses TheScore.com.
Kentix.com $2,277 – the owners of kentix.de.
FlipKart.ca 5,000 EUR – Flipkart, an Amazon.com of India, was back again.
Only $1,600 for TNTBoom.com. I’m sure a major network like that would’ve paid a lot more for it.
Yes. I’d also argue the domain seller should have been happy with that amount for this domain 🙂
Along with .ca there were also these:
flipkart.com.au May 2014 5,000.00 EUR Sedo
flipkart.ca May 2014 6,579.00 USD Sedo
flipkart.co.za May 2014 6,339.00 USD Sedo
flipkart.cn April 2014 6,317.00 USD Sedo
flipkart.de March 2014 5,000.00 USD Sedo
flipkart.nl May 2014 3,500.00 EUR Sedo
flipkart.pl May 2014 3,500.00 EUR Sedo
How much would the domain be worth if TNT decided to use UDRP or Fed. Court? TimeWarner could have used it to prove they defend their trademarks. Legal cost might not be a concern. Huge picked it up on the drop 90 days before selling it. That is why Andrew priced it below the UDRP filing fees. $9 cost, $1360. (net) in 90 days. Nice ROI.
some of these .com prices are pathetic! lets be honest….these are like average type ccTLD price ranges. wth!!! lol.
