Afternic and GoDaddy sold over $2 million worth of aftermarket domain names last week including new top level domain name auctions. Here are some of the domain names that were purchased by end users.

GoodNeighbors.com $25,000 – A MarkMonitor client purchased GoodNeighbors.com. State Farm is a client and uses the slogan “Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm is there”, although it could also be for another company.
MyanmarTechnology.com $1,699 – The owner of Global Myanmar
LocalContent.com $15,088 – A company in California called Local Content Inc.
CPSPayments.com $1,010 – CPStx, a credit card processing company
OneWaySolutions.com $1,500 – Plastic pallet manufacturer Oneway Solutions, which uses Oneway-Solutions.com for its website.
UtahSurgical.com $2,400 – Southwest Surgical Associates in Utah
GoGreenPharmacy.com $1,888 – Ttrinity Medical Pharmacy in New Porty Richey, Fl
AegisInsurance.com $7,500 – Aegis Security Insurance Company
AskMedia.com $1,600 – Ask.com
DIYtax.com $4,088 – Liberty Tax Service
Cord-Blood.com $4,388 – Americord Registry, a cordblood banking service
ElectricalWholesaleSupply.com $1,488 – Electrical Wholesale Supply in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Weba.us $1,000 – weba Werkzeugbau Betriebs GmbH, which has the domain name Weba.at.
AuctionPartners.com $1,500 – Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago
NIAM.com $2,000 – National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine
IndianaChevy.com $2,500 – Mike Anderson Chevrolet
EnergyIQ.org $1,596 – American Petroleum Institute
Asken.com $2,300 – Asken Properties in Lubbock, Texas. It’s a shorter version of their AskenProperties.com domain name.
GameStocks.com $2,500 – the owner of MyGameStocks.com bought this domain before launching his site.
LingoLand.com $2,500 – Language-focused travel company LinguLand.
SeismicSurveys.com $1,200 – Seismic Surveys Inc
TATAsolar.com $4,750 – Indian conglomerate Tata and its Tata Power Solard Systems Ltd company. This is interesting given that the company has filed UDRP’s in the past.

You are right, if I owned it, I would ask $7-10K from an end user for that name.

Probably more. It’s a name as well as decent CVVC name. To me it’s definitely low five fig name to the right enduser. But even $7-10k isn’t bad as well if there is some kind of making quick cash.
