App maker buys Folia.com for new app.
Afternic and GoDaddy combined to sell $1.1 million worth of domain names over the holiday week ending December 29. Here are some of the sales that were to end users, including Folia.com.

Folia.com $37,500 – Branchfire, creator of the iAnnotate app, bought this domain for a new productivity app. The seller appears to be Notion Research LLC, which previously was creating a product called Folia for managing cloud applications.
BidGive.com $2,000 – First Pacific Holdings, a sort of business incubator/holdings company.
FFinc.com $1,077 – Insurance company Fucci & Friedman Inc
Milestone.co $1,000 – Software development and design studio Present Plus.
SensitiveIssue.com $1,221 – a clever purchase by New York based The PR Consulting Group.
ParentsofTeens.com $2,500 – another clever buy, this time by Integrity, an internet content filtering service (e.g. block adult content).
VDPI.com $4,825 – Milk powder company Verndale Products Inc.
BullitProof.com $1,000 – Canadian real estate investment firm BullitProof, which already owns BullitProof.ca.
SummitFleet.com $3,500 – Kaizen Automotive Group, which has a fleet management group.
LACI.org $2,000 – Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator. It uses the longer laincubator.org domain name.
CFO360.com $5,000 – Plum Logic, which offers the Bookkeeper360 service for managing a company’s books. They’re either expanding the product line or bought this for defensive purposes.
NYREIT.com and NewYorkREIT.com $8,300 each – American Realty Capital
