Yesterday CentralNic, a company best known for offering third level domain names similar to ccTLDs, went public.
The company plans to use proceeds for a number of purposes, including investing in some new TLD applications (e.g. funding auctions) and building a domain registrar business.

The company who offered “third level domain names similar to ccTLDs” but got shut down by the United States Government, for violating US Law 15 USC § 1125 – False designations of origin, false descriptions, and dilution forbidden.
It’s nice to know they have published assets, within reach of ICE.

Much prefer London listed Top Level Domain Holdings, who will be opetating as registry & registrar for their wholly owned domains.
