Dropbox buys an India ccTLD and other end user domain sales.
Sedo sold 704 domains for over $1.25 million last week. I’ve identified 16 of the publicly reported sales as end user sale. There are certainly more, but these are the ones that stood out to me.
Webbs Garden Centres bought webbs.co.uk for 995 GBP. It now forwards to WebbsDirect.co.uk.
pair Networks, Inc., a frequent aftermarket domain buyer, bought PairMail.com for $800.
Jackpot Gaming Limited in London picked up LiveCasinoRoulette.com for $800.
Dropbox bought Dropbox.co.in for $3,000.
Owner Direct Vacation Rentals bought Ownerdirect.net for $1,500. It owns the same .com.
On the flip side, Laboratorio de Investigacin Hormonal LIH S.A. bought Lablih.com for $995. It owns the same .net.
Bead Sale LLC sells Mardi Gras beads and owns BeadSale.com and MardiGrasOutlet.com. It just paid $21,000 for CraftOutlet.com.

OSHA Training Services Inc. in Arlington, Texas paid $1,997 for SafetyTraining.net.
Communications company West Corporation paid $2,750 for HFConnect.com. I’m not sure what it plans to do with the domain.
Marketplace Events paid $820 GTAHomeShow.com for one of its events. It owns GTAHomeShow.ca.
Prom dress retailer Unique Vintage bought UniqueProm.com for $2,599.
UK real estate company W. A. Ellis bought WAellis.com for $2,500. It owns the equivalent .co.uk domain.

Perhaps you would kindly inform Dropbox that DropboxStorage.com is still available for purchase through several marketplaces such as Domain Name Sales or Sedo.
Andrew Allemann says
@ Bob – if they really wanted that domains they’d file a UDRP instead of buying it.
Ron says
Why would they need your two word domain when they own the category killer generic Dropbox.com?
Jay says
Bob – You are not a domainer (as you might think so), but actually you are a cybersquatter.
Bob says
@Jay Please do not think I am a cybersquatter as Dropbox Storage is quite different from Dropbox & now back in fashion as with Cloud Storage. DropboxStorage was originally created in August 2007 with 2 drops according to Whois records but I acquired this domain in May 2012. I only started my own portfolio with mainly two-word descriptive .com domains just over a year ago following my retirement so I am still fairly new to this industry & am totally deaf from birth but with full grammar school education. I do enjoy reading excellent articles from Andrew so thanks very much indeed.
Matt says
@Bob – Dropbox Inc. filed for their trademark on “dropbox” in 2009 and it went live in 2011. You acquired the domain after this, and you are openly trying to sell it back to them which shows bad faith. I think cybersquatter is a fair term. Staying away from trademarked terms is one of the first rules every real domainer must learn.
Bob says
@Matt Now I fully understand what you have said about trademarked terms so I will remove this domain from all marketplaces now & then allow it to drop when it is due to expire on 4 May 2013. I have no intention or wish of becoming a cybersquatter at all but in fact trademark checking from Valuate.co, Dofo, etc. can be misleading as they can still say there is no trademark risk! If I had registered DropstorageBox.com or even DropFaceBox.com for example it would have been in order & no trademark risk is involved. I have over 200 domains in my own portfolio & checked that none of them have such trademark risks so I very much hope I am a real domainer now! Thank you for your good information.
