Company enters chapter 7 liquidation.
Entertainment Publications LLC, the company that owns Entertainment.com, has filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation.
You probably know the company for its coupon books, which offered buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers before Groupon, Living Social, and everyone else got into the game. The catch is that you have to pay upfront for an Entertainment book and then use the coupons throughout the year.
So will Entertainment.com go up for sale?
As a chapter 7 bankruptcy filing the assets will be liquidated. But that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to buy this prime piece of internet real estate on its own. I suspect the intellectual property will initially be packaged together. [Update: I received notice from the company that it is recommencing operations and there has been an offer to purchase the entire company.]
Still, it’s worth keeping an eye on.

I worked for Entertainment. There was an ongoing water cooler discussion about what our domain name was worth. Any ideas how much it would go for as a stand alone domain name?
