Animal Finders, a new service designed to help connect lost animals with their owners, bought PetsReunited.com for $1,600. It operates in the UK at AnimalFinders.co.uk; I wonder if they tried to buy the .com of that name and found PetsReunited.com to be cheaper.
Online marketing company Hubspot bought FaceSpot.com for $2,800. For Facebook marketing tools? If so, it should be wary of Facebook, which likes to claim trademark infringement on such domains.
Smoothie bar operated Booster Juice owns BoosterJuice.com, but wisely bought JuiceBooster.com for $1,977.
Furniture company HomeLife shelled out $14,500 for GardenBenches.com.
TASER International zapped TaserTube.com for $1,795. (Sorry, I couldn’t help it.)
Expressions of Time, a clock store that owns ClockShoppes.com, smartly purchased ClockShops.com for $5,500.
Sony Pictures bought MoreThanMovies.com for $1,188.
QMI SAI Canada Ltd, which does quality control and ISO certification, bought SAIDirect.com for $1,488.
The house trimming/molding company that owns HomeTrimwork.com shortened its web address to Trimwork.com for $2,600.
Millennium Dental Technologies paid $1,552 for FightGumDisease.com
Event production company All Phases Event Group shortened its URL from AllPhasesEG.com to Allphases.com for $4,500.
Automated Voice Data Solutions owns AVDS.com and bought AVDS.net for $1,988.
Retina Institute in California bought CaliforniaClinics.com for $1,195 and CaliforniaClinic.com for $2,888.
Here’s an interesting one. Rachael Ray’s parent company Watch Entertainment bought her husband’s name JohnCusimano.com for $4,077.

Upscale store Marka VIP bought KidsVIP.com for $1,600.
PC Pitstop, which runs a site offering computer scans and cleaning, bought PCMinder.com for $800.
MailChimp picked up MailMonkey.com for $11,000. It recently bought MonkeyMail.com for $10,500.
Kindred Healthcare, Inc. bought Kindred.info for 775 EUR.
App company Echoboom Apps bought Echoboom.com for $4,500. It forwards it to is existing web address, Echoboom.se.
The owner of GameTop.com, a site for free online, PC, and Android games, bought TopApps.com for $25,000. That’s a great domain.

‘top apps’ is also a high search term for apps. ‘best apps’ gets even more searches. They probably bought TopApps.com because it partly matches their company name though.
