Three ads explain that Go Daddy is about more than just attractive women.
Go Daddy has released the three television commercials it will run during the Olympics.
You may have seen the first one a few weeks ago, called “Inside Out – Otter”.
The basics of Otter are the same as the other two commercials, “Bubble Bath” and “Berries”. In each one, a narrator explain that Go Daddy has two sides — the attractive models it uses in ads and the techies who actually make the products work.
The ads are a not-so-subtle nod to its “past”, in which it used sexy Go Daddy Girls to attract people to its web site where they could buy very unsexy products.
I think the commercials will be effective in getting across the company’s “new” message, which is that it’s a huge technology company. At the same time they basically retain the sexy factor of their old commercials, which will certainly attract viewer’s attention.
