7th DOMAINfest Global to return in 2013.
In my discussions in recent days about the sudden lack of domain conferences, a common question has been, “Is Oversee.net still doing DOMAINfest next year?”.
It’s a fair question given that Oversee.net is a much smaller company than it was a year ago having since divested Moniker and SnapNames. Sure, the conference has always technically been sponsored by DomainSponsor (which is now Oversee.net’s bread and butter when it comes to client facing products). But will it really go on?
No need for speculation. Here’s what the company said in response to a DNW query:
Yes, DOMAINfest will be back. We have already begun the process of organizing our 7th annual DOMAINfest Global conference, to be held at the end of January 2013. An official announcement listing the dates and venue will be issued within the next couple weeks. We are excited to continue the DOMAINfest tradition of providing domain investors and online marketers with unbeatable networking opportunities, plus a chance to learn from a diverse roster of expert speakers.
See you in January.

A DOMAINfest Global conference 2013 WEBSITE would be nice.

@ Nicco – they’re going to announce the show in a couple weeks, at which point I expect the web site will be updated.
Whitney says
Have they announced this yet?

Usually when couple weeks turns into a month and half whatever was promised is not going to happen.
I’m still hoping domainsponsor wakes up and brings domainfest back in 2013 and they should set the pricing at the 495 dollar level so as to bring out the medium size domainers in huge numbers and newbies too because the original domainer owns the big domainer and most of the medium size pro domainer conference market with t.r.a.f.f.i.c.
I would probably be visiting t.r.a.f.f.i.c. too but domainfest always had high quality speakers (and the playboy party) and it meshed with my life’s timetables by being at the right time for a winter holiday.
During the times when t.r.a.f.f.i.c. is on I usually travel somewhere else because of family and friends.
