Moniker Spring auction springs into action.
Moniker just started its Spring Auction on SnapNames.
The auction features 103 domain names, many with no reserves. Some of the no reserve domains are:
NJLawFirms.com
Obese.net
UPCbarcodes.com
attempt.net
grilled.net
Several of the no reserve domains already have bids.
Other notable domains in the auction include IdentifyTheft.com, Security.com, Platinum.com, and Unplugged.com.
In other Moniker/SnapNames news, It looks like Moniker and SnapNames, now owned by KeyDrive, have also refreshed their logos. The sites were redesigned a couple years ago and ended up with rather plain logos. Now the familiar “feather pen” is back in the Moniker logo — albeit with a more modern appearance.

These are some truly horrendous domains. 32a.com? DietarySupplements.net? I see better names offered on the forums every week. Expected a better roster from Moniker/Snapnames

Why run it for a whole month?? Most people wait until the last day to bid, seems they could
have shortened it to a week like Sedo does with their monthly auction.

DO NOT do business with Moniker.
I recently transferred in some domains from wild west (GoDaddy) and accepted transfer out.
Transfer out happened right away without incident but TRANSFER IN to Moniker was HORRIFIC.
It took 12 to 18 hours for Moniker to put my domains into my account AFTER they arrived at Moniker.
Whois showed Moniker as the new registrar but I had not access to my domains and nameservers were dead.
Customer service took about 24 hours to reply.
These domains at auction are another clear sign that nobody with any brains is running Moniker.
RUN from Moniker before it’s sold YET again or worse, out of business.
Just a matter of time if you ask me.
Very sad.
