Google goes after another “survey” site.
Google has filed a complaint with National Arbitration forum to get a hold of Goggle.com, Goggle.net, and Goggle.org.
While the domain names could be considered “generic” for the term Google, it’s the use of the domain names that has the company up in arms.
Similar to another recent complaint over YouTube.ph, these domains forward to a survey page that then entices users to complete a number of offers.
The current page doesn’t imitate Google’s logo, but that wasn’t always the case. The site used to have a logo with a similar font to Google (courtesy DomainTools historical thumbnails):

Online identity is much vulnerable and with too many TLDs in the offer any one can get what they want. Now what’s the security for your domain or hosting online?
TKO says
The only extensions that should be allowed are .com, .tv, and .org. The rest are worthless.

Scammy survey sites really piss off TM holders.

They have to buy the company. It’s only a small company…

The FBI should take it down. They took down megaupload, they can take down some shitty virus website.
Domainer Extraordinaire says
Andrew you should take out the website link part of posts, thus eliminating spammers incentive to post.

@ Domainer Extraordinaire – It’s a reasonable idea. The links are no follow, but I guess people figure they might get a click or two? Or they’re just trying to hit all blogs with the hope that some use do follow links.
