More web sites for sale, this time with hard costs data.
Rick Latona has released a new batch of developed web sites for sale. This time around he has added expense details so you can get an idea of how much it costs to operate the site.
Still, the expense details don’t seem to take into consideration how much time the site operators spend on the site. You’ll want to find that out before placing an offer.
Included are two insurance lead generation sites. One is state specific and earns about $20,000 a year. Asking price is $70,000, or 3.5x revenue. The other brings in nearly $200k a year and is priced at 4x that.
Also up for sale is business directory Weboptopia.org for EUR 600,000, about 5x annual revenues, a printer review site, a college/career web site, and “cancer insurance” site.

EasyToInsureMe price is priced less than double earnings! Some questions an interested buyer might ask are: Will the backlinks stay?
Will relationships with agents be transferrable to the new owner? Will the seller sign a non-compete that he doesn’t have and will not create more sites within same industry?

I love the way they find these sites. Say they have a client interest in buying but want to charge at 15% fee to the seller. I receive about 3 of these emails a day to my sites see below:
My name is Al Bolton, Site Broker with Latonas.com.
A client of ours has expressed interest in acquiring mysite.com and has asked me to reach out to you on their behalf. Would you consider selling the site?
When determining the asking price for your site, please take into account that we charge a 15% brokerage fee.
I can be reached anytime at the contact info listed below and look forward to discussing this further.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Am I the only one that thinks the sites he is listing are a complete fraud, the really cheap insurance site for example, only asking 800k appears to be not even 6 months old, all backlinks are from suspect blackhat techniques, seriously…does he really think people are such idiots to fork over 800k for this type of stuff, I think the credability he built up is disappearing quick…just my 2 cents
