Domain Name Wire Turns 6 Today

Thanks for making Domain Name Wire possible.

Domain Name Wire turns six today.

I suppose six years is a long time in the blogosphere. It seems like just yesterday that I wrote the first post on Domain Name Wire.

But it was March 9, 2005, when I wrote about Local.com selling for $700,000.

Since then Domain Name Wire has published 4,252 posts covering all aspects of the domain name industry. At this time last year Domain Name Wire had 3,141 posts, so that means another 1,111 newsworthy events in the past year. (OK, so some people would argue they aren’t all newsworthy.) There are also close to 30,000 published comments on the site.

I’d like to thank you for continuing to read Domain Name Wire. Many thanks also to the advertisers that make this site possible.

    Very nice Andrew.

Don’t know where this industry would be without you and your publication.

Welp; there goes the pacifier. 😉

The industry just wouldn’t be the same without you, Andrew (not saying it would be worse, just different).

    O.K. fine; I’m kidding.

    Big thanks!

What is great is that your job with Directi looks to not have affected the volume and quality of posts.

Good job Andrew, continue that way.

And Hapy bithday to you, your mouse, your keyword and laptop for 6 years of hard work:)
