Conference brings together domain names and snow.
Mike Law, who writes the NameTalent.com blog, is organizing the first ever Rocky Mountain Domain Conference (RMDC) February 26 in Denver, Colorado.
I’m a big fan of smaller, regional domain name conferences and meetups. They attract a lot of locals that don’t make it to large domain conferences and also bring in some larger domainers and companies from around the country.
RMDC will be a one day event on February 26, with an optional day of skiing and snowboarding on February 27. Tickets are just $45.88 (not including optional skiing) and include lunch and a drink ticket to the evening cocktail party.
Law tells Domain Name Wire:
I am a Denver native and started investing in domain names in 2001. Since we have never seen a domain industry event in Colorado, even with some big players and companies in our space that reside here, I felt compelled to put Denver on the conference map so that domainers in this region have an educational and networking event to look forward to each year. I also want to leverage the Rocky Mountain Domain Conference to raise more local awareness about the opportunities that lie within domain investing and web development.
The event will be capped at 50 people and registration is available online. Sponsorships are also available.

Thanks for the update on this. We have some nice Colorado domain names we will be contacting them with. Also it will be interesting to see how the .co plays out in colorado a much missed opp for companies in Colorado.
No idea this was happening.

Thanks again for the coverage Andrew!
@Donny – we won’t be auctioning any names during this first RMDC event despite many inquiries about an auction. It’s something I will consider for future events, but for now the focus is on organizing a successful and worthwhile experience for everyone that attends.
