Vodka purveyor gets AbsolutEscort.com domain name.
Hey, I’ll let you draw your own conclusions. But V&S Vin & Sprit AB, distributor of Absolut Vodka, just won a domain name arbitration case for AbsolutEscorts.com.
Why else would they want this domain name other than to expand into another vice industry? Oh, I suppose it could have to do with this:
The Complainant has not authorized the Respondent’s use of the mark in any way and would not license the mark for use in conjunction with pornographic content or services of any kind.
They also won absolut-porn.com.
But you never know. After all, it seems clear that American Automobile Association wants to get in on the adult game, too. It won disputes for aaaerotica.com, aaanudes.com, and aaablondes.com, which makes you question if the organization has filed a trademark in the field of use of adult entertainment for the generic term ‘aaa’.
I can see it now: your annual AAA membership gives you free towing…to the strip club.

Yeah I love the AAA remark. And I don’t see how American Airlines doesn’t have the rights to aaa.com since they have aa.com it seems that aaa.com is OBVIOUSLY infringing.
