First LuxuryNames auction ends today.
The first ever LuxuryNames auction has attracted a number of bids in advance of its closing this afternoon. Lots will begin closing at 12:15 PST on SnapNames.
As of 7 am PST today, 19 domain names have received bids. The highest so far is $2,600 for CheapHouseInsurance.com. Many of the domains have prices starting at only $99.
I have three domains in the auction, one of which has received several bids already: WeeklyPlanner.com. The domain was originally registered back in 2000. I sold MonthlyPlanner.com at an auction earlier this year, and believe WeeklyPlanner.com is a better domain.
My other domains are Newlyweds.net and MusicPhones.com. Newlyweds.net has an opening price of $3,000. Newlyweds.com sold for $130,000 last year. MusicPhones.com is a great domain with a phrase used extensively in the mobile phone industry. It was even used repeatedly in a Samsung commercial. To get an idea of the usage of this term, see the Google results.
Congratulations on your sale of WeeklyPlanner.com!!! How did you price it? Valuate valued is much higher than your reserve.
Are you going to post the totals for the Luxury auction? Snapnames didn’t advance market Luxury. There were no notices on the SnapNames homepage in advance of the auction, only the live auction once it started. Maybe a day in advance, that’s it!
