German ccTLD tops sales list for the week.
Yesterday on Twitter Sedo posted some of its completed sales for the week. One in particular caught my eye: FlatRate.de sold for EUR 160,000. That’s about $200,000 USD. The buyer is Active Touch Media + Marketing of Germany.
Although that was the only completed six figure sale from Sedo last week, the company tallied an impressive line up of five figure sales across TLDs:
.Com
bruxelles.com 28,500 EUR
ilicense.com 28,000 USD
belgique.com 25,000 EUR
raise.com 21,000 EUR
sportissimo.com 20,000 USD
loi.com 16,200 USD
bnw.com 15,500 USD
jex.com 10,599 USD
herboriste.com 10,000 EUR
delivery24.com 10,000 USD
ccTLDs
ggg.com.br 15,000 USD
Other
skincare.net 22,500 USD
man.org 12,500 USD
bbplanet.net 10,000 USD
Sedo’s first ever No Reserve auction is attracting lots of bidders. The top domain so far is zoloto.com, which means “Gold” in Russian according to the seller. Zoloto.com is currently $16,700 with 64 bids.
Dangerous.com is up to £ 9,600, KOD.com is $9,200, 9B.com is $8,300, and Deposits.com is $4,500.
There are still a number of domains at low prices, and it will be interesting to see how things shape up when the auction ends on Thursday. With so many domains, it’s worth sorting through the list to find winners that might be overlooked.
In the expired domain world, the top sale at SnapNames was DiscountMeds.com, which sold for $22,500. Other notable SnapNames sales included:
metalmart.com $7,850
epicfail.com $7,250
hobbycenter.com $7,055
salud.net $6,256

Thanks for clearing up the mystery… I could not figure out all the interest in Zoloto.

Awesome. I was told English .de’s were not worth much when they asked me for HotelRooms.de . Go .de go!
Solid #’s on all of the above. Hopefully .ca’s will pick up some steam.
Cheers!

@ Steve – I guess Poker.de would be an english .de example. But yes, I was under the same impression.
