Domain auction has many domains that have hit reserve.
Domain name aftermarket and parking company Sedo’s monthly Great Domains auction ends today at 2 PM Eastern. Auctions receiving bids in the final minutes will be extended.
Two domains in the auction have hits six figures but neither are close to meeting the reserve price. Planet.com is at $200,000, well below the $500,000-$1,000,000 reserve. Fly.com, which changed hands for a reported $1.5 million in 1999, is currently $130,000. The reserve on Fly.com is north of $2 million.
Here are domains attracting attention that have met their reserves:
Yii.com $7,000
659.com $8,900
Canadians.com $9,999
Fifties.com $4,877
Ppl.net $2,000
Wnf.com $7,001
Estilos.com
LLLL.com $7900
BananaSplit.com $3100
Address.net $10,099
Brews.com $5,299
Sedo will host a champagne toast at its booth at the TRAFFIC show in Brooklyn today to celebrate the conclusion of the auction. I don’t see any of the “big” domains in the auction showing, but a lot of the mid tier domains appear to be headed toward solid sales.
Sedo should first stop screwing their customers on parking revenue as they are far worst on most of domains.
And also they should learn their support employees that referral tracking cookie isn’t something to eat. 😀
It looks like they went for pretty low prices overall. I would have thought Brews and Fifties would bring in more than that.
