I’m surprised that .net had so many enthusiasts. I’ve had more luck with .org, if it is the right name.

Dot-org is a great TLD, but don’t forget that it was originally meant for non-profit organizations. Not the most alluring factor for most domainers.

Rob – .tv is a country code domain. I didn’t include ccTLDs.
I rather register .TV after .com and .net, but you shut it off. I will not go for .org for the same reason as mentioned by David C.
