An auction at SnapNames for HotelDeals.com closed for $171,250.
The sale was one of the largest domain name sales of the year, according to the latest domain sales report from DNJournal.
BuyDomains sold GatherRound.com for $40,000. I purchased a couple domain names from BuyDomains this past week as well. BuyDomains has a great portfolio of domains and is well worth checking out. There prices for most domains are reasonable and they have powerful search functionality on their site. Other notable BuyDomain sales this week, according to DNJournal, are GreenTrade.com for $9,000 and DomainManagement.com at $7,000. A couple of the best deals from BuyDomains on the chart are PrivacyManagement.com at $2,500 and GenericPrescriptions.com at $2,142.
.Mobi domains continue to sell well. Sedo sold Attorney.mobi for £11,966, which is about $24,000 USD. The company also sold BBB.mobi for $6,500, Lenders.mobi for $5,200, Campus.mobi for €2,481, and Dealer.mobi for $3,050. Sedo has another big one coming up – loto.mobi is at auction with a $10,000 bid and the reserve is met. Afternic has a number of .mobi domain sales closing in the coming week and recently sold OrlandoRealEstate.mobi for $1,500. Afternic’s other .mobi sales for $1,000 or less include Fare.mobi, DogPictures.mobi, ComputerStore.mobi, and GroceryStore.mobi. An auction for Laptops.mobi closes this week. .Mobi is one of the most successful domain launches ever, as I predicted, especially with regards to quick action in the aftermarket. .Mobi has the TRAFFIC/Moniker auction to thank in part. The $200,000 sale of Flowers.mobi set the bar and gained a lot of press.

Just curious….what names did you buy from them? I thought the two generic drug names went very cheaply.

One of the domains was datamapping.com. I don\’t have ownership of the other (more expensive) one yet, so I can post about it once it\’s in my hands.
