Another hole-in-one in the domain name aftermarket this week! GolfResorts.com was sold for just over $60k to the same company that owns GolfCourses.com. The second highest sale of the week was Chords.com, which sold for $35,000. As we reported earlier, America.org sold for $20,000 at Afternic.
Last week also saw a high .co.uk domain sale. EngineeringJobs.co.uk sold for £4,500.
There are signs that the .ws domain name market might actually produce some decent sales. I’ve always been amazed at how low these domains sell for; even one word consumer domains. This week WebCams.ws sold for 2,300 and Green.ws sold for $1,250.
3 character domains continue to sell like hotcakes, and if you make some lowball offers you might just get lucky. For example, AJH.com sold for just $2,600 on the Pool Marketplace this week. Under $10,000 for a domain like this is a good deal, under $5,000 is an absolute steal.
As always, you can check out the complete sales list over at DNJournal, the top destination for domain sales data.
