Interchange Corporation (NASDAQ: INCX), known primarily for its pay-per-click services, picked up domain name Local.com for $700,000 and issued a press release about its plans. Interchange will offer a number of local portals (e.g. chicago.local.com) which will integrate with its local pay-per-click offerings. Perhaps it will be like CitySearch.com, with better integration of paid for performance listings.
I always thought that Local.Com was a company itself listed on Nasdaq as LOCM, a 50 Million Dollar Company….Why would they sell there name??
Ohhh time flies!
