Three letter domain name is top bid-getter so far.
Sedo’s monthly Great Domains auction ends today at noon EDT.
As of 9 am EDT this morning, the auction is led by the three-letter domain name WHX.com. It has met its reserve and it currently $24,000. The domain name has been under Whois privacy since 2013.
Other domains that have hit their reserve include Miami.nl (EUR 3,000), XXME.com (GBP 810), 1678.net ($700), Feeder.net (EUR 149), eTourism.info ($109) and 8822.org ($109).
The Miami domain name in Netherland’s country code domain name is peculiar, but I’ve seen other U.S. city names sell in ccTLDs before. For example, NewYork.ch has sold twice at Sedo.
Cuts.com and Symbiotic.com have bids over $10,000 but have not yet hit their reserves, which are as much as $25,000.
