A .info domain name is at the top of this week’s end user list.
The top two end user sales I found in this week’s Sedo sales are interesting.
The first shows how mispriced some new top level domain names are. The second is a .info. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a .info hit the five-figure mark.
The top reported sale of the week was elektromobil.com. This is German for ‘electric vehicle’. I can’t tell if the buyer is an end user, as this is actually a reasonable price to pay even as an investment, so I didn’t put it on the list.
As for the rest of the list, it is mostly .com (as usual), although .club, .net and even .pe make an appearance.
Here’s the list of end user sales I uncovered:
(You can view previous lists like this here.)
JobNinja.com €10,000- JobNinja GmbH is a job/career finding service. It has been using the domain name JobNinja.eu. It doesn’t own Job.ninja, and I don’t blame it. Job.ninja is a Platinum domain at Rightside so it costs at least $25,000 to register. It just bought JobNinja.com for less than half of that.
Fly.info €10,000 – The buyer has already developed a site with information about airports.
Nilk.com $7,200 – Food company mymuesli GmbH. I think this might be “milk” in another language but I can’t get a good translation. It might also be for a milk substitute (“NotmILK”).
FrontierGroup.com $6,000 – Fortress Frontier Group is a real estate investment and management company.
BeautyBio.com $5,500 – Beauty Bioscience, an investment of O’Banion Capital. Looks like they’re setting up a store selling makeup.
CypressRealEstate.com $5,000 – Xeal Estate LLC, a real estate company in Texas.
Taunus.com $5,000 – Günter Schmelz Taunus Transformatoren GmbH just did a big upgrade from Taunus.biz.
Crowdology.com $4,000 – Buyer Morar Consulting is a branding and marketing consultancy. The domain forwards to a page with a logo for “Lyon Labs.”
Edu.club $3,000 – MIP Media in Progress GmbH helps companies market to students.
Tempura.net $2,999 – Tempura Communications Ltd is a telecom company that uses the domain name Tempurauk.net.
JPPerez.com $2,500 – JA Perez Association. The buyer is a religious evangelist.
Stio.net $2,200 – Stio is an outdoor apparel company that uses the domain name Stio.com.
ChrisThatcher.com £2,000 – Chris Thatcher Acting Studio.
VisionDirect.com.pe $2,000 – Contact lens seller VisionDirect.co.uk bought this Peru country code domain.

Christ Hatcher … just in time for the Easter-egg hunt?

Err, that should have been Chris Thatcher 🙂
