Here’s how registrars did with .com domains in the most recently-reported month.
ICANN has published the latest .com transactions report from registry Verisign, showing official results from September. The new registrations leaderboard remains largely unchanged from last month, but it’s worth noting that the top Chinese registrar came in at #5. On the transfer side, there was quite a bit of change for both the top gainers and top losers.
Here are the top 5 registrars in September in terms of new .com registrations:

2. Rightside** 209,536
3. PublicDomainRegistry 131,302
4. Tucows 125,090
5. HiChina 114,726
Here are the top five registrars for net inbound transfers:
1. HiChina +33,022
2. TurnCommerce (NameBright) +16,020
3. EIMS +14,735
4. Mesh Digital +11,581
5. Google +7,058
On the flip side, these five registrars saw the biggest net outflow of .com domain names due to transfers:
1. Tucows -21,597
2. Bizcn.com -12,457
3. 22net -11,018
4. eName -10,675
5. Web.com*** -9,491
