Amazon shows progress on new TLD rollout.
Amazon.com has updated its AmazonRegistry.com web site to promote its upcoming top level domain name launches.
The page currently focuses on the French-language .moi domain name. It is due to hit general availability on February 28, 2017.
You can search for a .moi domain name in the search box and begin the registration process, which I assume is actually a pre-registration. After confirming you are in a French-speaking country (a requirement to register a .moi domain), you are currently presented with one choice for registering the domain:
Clicking the “register domain” button forces you to an Amazon login page, which subsequently forwards you to an Encira registration page.
The updated Amazon Registry page promotes seven additional TLDs, all internationalized domain names, which have scheduled GA launches of February 28. These domains are only available to trademark holders and there’s no indication of how to register them.
