From Fliers.com to Adroit.com, here are some notable sales at NameJet last month.
NameJet sold over $2.1 million worth of domain names last month, including some stragglers from the NamesCon auction.
Here are some of the domain names that popped out at me:
Fliers.com $20,100 – Joseph Peterson wrote about this sale in his weekly roundup a couple weeks ago. It was previously used for a flight log software company (see image).
Housewives.com $13,000 – There was a time when this domain name would have sold for much more. TheHousewives.com sold for $2,268 in 2010.
Chloride.com $8,754 – A prime example of a domain that’s a dictionary term but is also a brandable. I like this one a lot.
Adroit.com $5,311 – So many uses for this dictionary term that has a positive connotation.
InvestmentBanks.com $5,300 – A good domain for a site that profiles investment banks. Although big companies won’t look for an investment bank through an online directory, smaller companies might.
DailyCatch.com – Any seafood company should be interested in this domain name. In fact, a fishery let it expire. One potential buyer is the seafood restaurant using the domain name TheDailyCatch.com.
BookEditing.com $2,500 – A wise buy at this price. Bookwise Design let this domain name expire; it’s now owned by publishing technology company Hillcrest Media Group.
LifeSpy.com $2,500 – Former home of a blog about travel, coupons, etc.
BigMoon.com $2,300 – A great brandable domain name.
TennisOnline.com $2,166 – This is a great example of how some new TLD companies’ premium pricing is out of whack. Tennis.online will set you back $13,000 per year at GoDaddy.
