Updated marketplace includes high-quality, sales-focused landers.
Uniregistry isn’t the only company launching an upgraded marketplace today.
DomainAgents, a domain name buying service with a unique angle, has launched an updated marketplace today.
What makes DomainAgents unique is that it charges a $19.95 fee in order to make an offer on a domain name. In return, the service guarantees that the offer will be presented to the domain name owner.
This fee eliminates many of the tire kickers and confused people that sometimes place offers on domain names.
Another differentiator is fees. If you sell a domain name through a negotiation, the buyer pays the fee. Fees start at 10% and are reduced for domains that sell over $10,000.
For buy-it-now sales, the seller pays 10% (capped at $500 if the lead is seller-sourced) plus half of the escrow.
DomainAgents has pretty compelling landing pages:
I was skeptical that DomainAgents’ pay-to-offer model would work when the company first came on the scene. But data is proving otherwise.

I only ever get lowball $250 offers from this platform, I don’t like this concept, it’s to closed box, what’s the point, just ignore, and force the fox out of the hole.

We often see buyers start low to feel out the owner a bit. But keep in mind they purchased a credit to make the offer, so they are serious about buying the name.
You also get $10 if you engage and make a counter offer.

I am currently using enquiry.io for this but I will try this.
