One of the founders of CentralNic is stepping down for his board duties.
Domain name registrar and new top level domain name registry CentralNic announced two changes to its board today.
Executive Director Robert Pooke has retired from the Board of Directors. Pooke was one of the founders of CentralNic and has been involved in the domain name industry since 1998.
Desleigh Jean Jameson, Chief Executive of Instra Group, will join the Board as a Director.
CentralNic acquired Instra for $24 million in a deal that closed last month.
The company is also granting nearly 2.3 million options on shares, including 0.75 million to Chairman of the Board Mike Turner.
