Deal will help Efty gain exposure.
Michael Cyger, publisher of DomainSherpa, has invested in domain name investment platform Efty. In addition to the investment, Cyger will work with the company to build and promote the service.
Think of Efty as a control center for your domain name business. After uploading a list of domains to the service, you can track renewals, parking revenue and sales. You can also set up landing pages for your domains through Efty, giving you more control over “for sale” landing pages.
The service offers a free trial, after which plans start at under $10 a month.
Commenting on the investment and business deal, DomainSherpa publisher Michael Cyger commented, “I’ve tracked the evolution of Efty for two years and am excited to join the team in creating the future of domain name investing.”
The video below explains how Efty works:

Uniregistry along with Domain Name Sales already does all this?
Andrew Allemann says
Uniregistry has some of this stuff, but if you watch the video you’ll see some additional features. It also seems you can tap into multiple service providers (e.g. parking companies), but I’ll let the Efty.com guys chime in about what’s different.
Michael Cyger says
Hi Ron,
Yes, Uniregistry does a lot of what Efty.com does. I love Uniregistry. They have a great interface and toolset, and I highly recommend the registrar.
What we’re going to do at Efty is from a different perspective. We want you know all the costs associated with each domain and your entire portfolio, so you can make informed decisions about the performance of it. We’re going to be an investing platform for the domain name industry, and we’ll be offering features and functionality to drive that differentiation. In other words, we want to help hobbyists and collectors become professional domain name investors.
More to come. Please consider signing up for a trial account.
Thanks for your comments,
Michael

What a perky squire. Cyger could be a voice actor in his off hours.
With that trustworthy voice, maybe he could tack onto Efty some of the long-overdue services needed by high-value portfolios? Like more sophisticated privacy protection for personal security, live person transfer verification for $$$ domains, estate management…
I’ve already spambled on about this in other comments…but it’s a real market need. Somebody needs to flop onto this money already… https://domainnamewire.com/2015/08/12/fight-over-ape-com-lands-in-court/

Thanks, C.S.
I am not quite sure what a “perky squire” is, but — strangely enough — I think I like it. 🙂
Thanks for your comment. We will work hard to make sure investors receive a ton of benefit from the platform.
Best,
Michael
