How hundreds of new top level domain name conflicts were settled.
Which company has facilitated the most (dollar wise) domain name auctions over the past couple years? It’s not the regular industry marketplaces. Instead, it’s Innovative Auctions, the company that has handled over 100 auctions in the past couple years to settle new top level domain name contention sets. On this episode, biz dev lead Sheel Mohnot talks about the success of these auctions and what’s next for his company now that most of these new TLD contention sets have been resolved.

Absolutely fascinating conversation Andrew and Sheel. I’m a little tired about hearing about the new TLDs so I was a hesitant to spend my time listening to this particular podcast, but this talk goes so far beyond TLDs to business in general.
The psychology of these private auctions is amazing. There are so many subtleties. These concepts could also apply to domain investors in general if we communicated with our competitors in some situations.
Andrew, I will definitely not be cherry picking which Interviews to listen to from now on. You’ve earned a loyal listener.
