I’m not sure why people are wasting money on these domain names.
People register domain names whenever a celebrity baby is born, and the news of the latest British royal baby is Princess Charlotte is no exception.
So far today, about 100 Charlotte-related domain names have been registered in .com and .net, according to Verisign’s DomainView tool. This only includes domain names with “Charlotte” in them (excluding any related to the city of Charlotte and other people name Charlotte).
What are some of the gems people hope to cash in on? How about this 45 character, four hyphen beauty?

Wow.
It’s only a matter of time before Princess Charlotte domain names end up on eBay with asking prices of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Who will buy those domains ? Don’t think there is market for them.

In general no, but there will be a couple maybe three that see good natural traffic for a time and maybe one or two longer. The uk is big on selling memorabilia, would be a great forwarder or site for one of those businesses and the UK/Royals have very slack tm rules in that area.

It’s interesting to see all these names but how many of them will survive the first year?
