Auction will have just 30 lots.
Heritage Auctions has finalized the list of 30 lots it will auction off in next month’s domain name auction.
This is probably the smallest number of domain names to be auctioned in a live auction event, and it will be interesting to see how this approach works.
Some of the more interesting domain names include:
- NL.com
- AT.com
- Future.com
- SmartWatches.com
- Quick.com
- Import.com
- Equity.com
- Arcade.com
- Classic.com
- Corn.com
- An LLL .net Portfolio of (84) Domains
The auction will be held February 9 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
If you’re interested in domain name auctions, Right of the Dot is hosting an auction during the NamesCon conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday evening.

Does that guy still collect 30% of the sale? 15% from the seller and 15% from the buyer?
Robbie says
I think they do, which sucks, and is a total old school auction play in a modern technology driven world, shakedown.
Anticareer.com says
The 30% is worth it if they bring in buyers who will pay an inflated price, but from previous sales that hasn’t really been the case.
FYI: Not sure if intentional, but in Firefox at least the entire above the fold of your website is Uniregistry ads and a ton of whitespace.

Some nice ones there this time. Very interested to see how it goes.

Aside from the two letters, if corn doesn’t go for millions then the whole state of the nation and industry needs to be seriously analyzed and reevaluated. It would tend to indicate that something is very wrong at this point in history.
