A Hong Kong game developer, investment firm and manufacturer bought domain names last week.
Sedo handled 509 domain name transactions last week, for a total of $1.3 million. It was a little bit harder than usual to find obvious end user sales, but there are plenty of them.
Once again, many of the sales were to people who owned one TLD version of a domain picking up another.
Here’s the list of some of the week’s end user sales at the Sedo marketplace:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
We3.com $10,000 – Blankslate, a web publishing tools provider. I’m not sure what it plans to use it for, but it currently forwards to its main site.
HomeAway.ae 5,000 EUR – HomeAway.com bought the United Arab Emirates country code domain.
PsychoNeuroimmunology.org $800 – Biotech firm Biotekna bought this domain. Psychoneuroimmunology is the study of the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems of the human body.
QuadrigaFund.com 2,900 EUR – Superfund Consulting GmbH bought this domain. They are an investment firm.
Luisiaviaroma.com $750 – CitizenHawk acquired this typo on behalf of Luisa Via Roma spa.
Signup.net $13,000 – SignUpGenius, an online sign up form system. That’s a strong price for a .net.
SoftSign.com 6,000 EUR – SoftSign technology GmbH, an identity management company in Germany that uses the matching .de domain name.
IntelligentEnvironments.net $1,200 – Intelligent Environments Europe Limited, which already uses the .com version of this domain name.
CookingGames.me 899 EUR – NGames Interactive Limited, a Hong Kong game developer.
ArtnFrame.com $799 – Korean art company BHands.
Omnitrack.net 2,500 EUR – Omnitrack Ltd, a UK company that manufacturers “ball units”. They use the matching .co.uk domain.
Alghoul.com $1,950 – Alghoul & Associates Law Firm. This is a nice upgrade from its current address Alghoul-Law.com.
Actavis.it 1,950 EUR – Actavis Italy S.p.A. I believe this is part of the global pharmaceuticals company.

“That’s a strong price for a .net.” For the buyer.
