At least seven new TLDs hit the market this week, and expect a lot of press around second level .uk domain names.
Famous Four Media finally gets into the mix this week as it launches its first three top level domain names: .webcam, .trade and .bid. All hit the market today.
It already made news this morning with the sale of 15 .webcam domains for a total of $175,000.
According to the Calzone.org calendar, .商城 also begins its claims period today. However, the company’s site doesn’t mention anything about it launching yet. The site only mentions the landrush for .wang.
Tomorrow an “old” country code domain name begins accepting second level domain name registrations: You’ll be able to pick up second level .uk domain names. Owners of existing third level domain names will have first rights to the matching second level for up to five years, which means there’s not much of an investment rush here.
Four more Donuts domains exit the Early Access Program and four more enter on Wednesday. .Dating, .events, .partners and .products revert to regular pricing. If you like TLDs beginning to C, this is your week: .Community, .cards, .catering and .community enter EAP.
