Bright.com raises $14 million in Series B
Bright.com, sold for six figures in 2010, is being put to good use.
Job search site Bright.com has raised $14 million in a Series B round.
The Bright.com domain name sold through Sedo for $112,500 back in 2010. Looking at historical whois records, I’m not 100% sure that it was the company that’s currently operating at Bright.com that bought the domain name. The job search site launched the next year, in 2011.
The domain name itself has a bit of history, with one active domain investor saying a previous owner told him the domain name was stolen from him. I tried to call the previous owner to learn more about this but the phone number was disconnected.
