.co front and center with the big three on Google Apps.
Google Apps has added .co as a registration option when you open a new account.
Given that you can currently register 27 different top level domains with Google Apps, that’s not big news by itself.
But much like with many of the top domain name registrars, .co has managed to get Google to promote it.
When I tested just moments ago, Google places .co right up there with .com, .net, and .org. You have to click a link to see the other 23 registration options.
This is particularly surprising given the relatively high cost of .co. Google prices it at $25, which is second only to its .mx pricing.
Google Apps domain names are registered through partnerships with Go Daddy and eNom. It recently added a partnership with domaindiscount24.com, a member of the KeyDrive Group, which added a number of ccTLDs.

What about .me domains?

@ d.r. looks like they’re on there as well.

Not surprising at all, same reason GoDaddy made .co commercials. They make more money on the more expensive extensions. If there was some other newer extension, priced that high, it would be there instead.

GOOGLE.com just might go G.co someday

its interesting as when I have just tested Google apps for business I got only choice of .com,net and .org unless I clicked More.
When I clicked More .co was set lower than other extensions e.g. .be,.biz,.cc and others.I set my location US.
Andrew Allemann says
@ Adam – that is strange. I selected US as well. Maybe they are a/b testing.
Privy Domains says
@Andrew / @ Adam . They are showing .co as fourth in my end. I tried several proxies but still the same. A little good news for .co and Juan which is being hit hard these days
