Will another domainer win a $10,000 .Me scholarship this year?

Go Daddy handing out $100,000 in scholarship program that included Brian Diener as a recipient last year.

Go Daddy’s .ME College Scholarship program is returning for another year.

The company will hand out ten $10,000 scholarships to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Fall 2012.

Normally I wouldn’t think this particularly newsworthy for the domain name industry, but last year a domain blogger was one of the winners.

TeenDomainer.com writer Brian Diener picked up one of the $10,000 scholarships last year.

It would be cool to see someone else in the domain name investor community win this year. To apply you must:

be pursuing an undergraduate degree in fall 2012, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have scored higher than 1000 on the SAT or 21+ on the ACT. Applicants need to submit two letters of recommendation and write a 500-word essay describing how the Internet or Internet technology has helped them in the course of their studies, and how they envision benefiting from it in the future.

I would think domain investors could write a great essay on this topic.
