Lots of extra publicity for your domain name in next week’s newsletter.
Francois Carrillo, the guy behind Domaining.com, has a cool promotion going on for his next domain sales newsletter — and it’s a win-win for you.
The idea is that he’s going to share the commission from sales in his January 9 newsletter with domain bloggers.
So why should this be interesting to you, the non-blogger? Well, if you have a name to sell then this next newsletter is the one to submit it for. The newsletter will get a lot of extra promotion beyond being sent to thousands of Domaining.com subscribers. For example, the list will be advertised to DNForum’s members.
You can submit one domain (and one only) by January 5 here.
(Although grateful for the offer, I’ll decline my share of any proceeds.)

I’m confused. I just ‘signed up’ so I could submit a name, and I get told I must ‘upgrade my membership’!?!! So it appears in order to a submit name to this ‘blogger sale’, one must ‘pay’ to do so? WTF??
James says
Well, I had the same experience as Kevin. But, I paid the upgraded membership just to participate, and to my dismay, my domain is not listed! I have emailed Francois today for explanation…
James says
To clarify, my domain is not listed in the newsletter that came out this morning from Domaining.com. According to the newsletter, about 500 participants, but only 100 names were chosen for the newsletter, which was apparenty the plan. But the link to the RSS feed does not produce the remaining domains as indicated in the newsletter, nor can I find my submitted domain anywhere on CAX, despite it being accepted (not all domains were accepted by the way, only those worth over $1000, something that was not mentioned prior to upgrading to paid membership). I’m confused, but perhaps it’s just me, or his poor english skills.
James says
Further clarification: My domain appears on CAX only in my portfolio, but not in the domain list, nor in a search. Also, the minimum value was not $1000, I mistyped. It was $100, I believe. I am locked in to exclusivity with the domain per his terms for this promotion, but where is it?
