Chernoff strikes again.
Gary Chernoff has made another big domain name sale with AdNet.com for $60,000.
The updated whois information shows that RevNet bought the domain name. RevNet bills its business as the “Worlds 1st On-Demand Data Monetization Platform for businesses and publishers.”
The company owns another “net.com” domain, CallNet.com.
It’s clear RevNet understands the importance of domain names. Two of its other domains are monetization.com and ListManagement.com.
When taking a look at AdNet.com I noticed that Chernoff uses DomainNameSales.com / ProForma to handle purchase inquiries. This is the exclusive domain brokerage that Frank Schilling also uses.
You should take a look at the landing page you see when you click his link. Note how, instead of asking which domain name you’re interested in buying, it asks about the brand you’re buying. The page also includes a video about the value of domain names and the company’s slogan: Why Build a Brand When You Can Buy One?
The brokerage gets dozens of sales inquiries a day, as you can see here.

I had an offer a few years back on adpals.com, but never could work out a price. This makes me wonder if I should put it back on the market.
Domains are selling for really good pricing lately.

Tom, nice domain – how much?
Tom F says
Well, it’s my main domain that I use. I was offered 8k about 5 years ago. I would like 40 for it, so maybe the right end user will come along eventually.
With social marketing so hot, it could be a great domain to develop.

That seems too cheap a price IMO.

Very nice sale. Good news for all ad??? domain names. We have multiple 5 figure offers over the years for advlogs.com not taking though.
