Service from Media Breakaway seeks to monetize under performing domain traffic.
A new domain name parking service says it will help domain owners monetize their high traffic but low revenue domain names better than traditional PPC parking.
TheParkingPlace.com is a new service from Media Breakaway that monetizes domain names with CPA, CPC, CPV, and exit pop ups.
The few examples I viewed (GasPrices.com, 032.com, Fork.com) offer surveys and giveaways to capture visitor email addresses. (Note: visiting these landers will result in pop-up alerts and sound.)
Media Breakaway CEO Scott Richter has a long history with email marketing. That said, I think this sort of “generic offer” approach to monetizing domains that don’t do well with traditional pay-per-click landers is an intriguing model.
The service accepts all traffic and locations and promises that “no domain name will ever be turned away. We do not have any block list issues…”
Kevin Murphy says
This the same Scott Richter as was once called the world’s third-largest spammer?
Wow. How do I sign up?
Josh says
Andrew, don’t approve this if you think it is too harsh, but those example sites look just like what you would expect if a spam-king were to start a domain parking service… Can it even be called parking if the domain is just forwarded to a scam site on another domain?
Harry Flowers says
I’m not above it. Sign me up and show me the cash.
The only thing I did not like is the TOS has a lot of charge back, or you pay us back if the advertiser complains or refuses to pay kind of language.
I guess though if that becomes a problem it would just ruin their service and rep, so I am going to give it a try.
BTW….this kind of traffic that does not convert on parking pages has always worked well at eBay or Amazon. That’s my experience.

Some of my domains went from RPM $5 to RPM $50. Nowadays when parking pays less and less every dollar counts.

The Question is how do you successfully run traffic to these ?
I was told my them that some people making 100k a month .
Why are low domain names working better ?
shuwix says
@Dan: ppc price have 2 factors – demand vs. offer (easier you get traffic – huge offer, less value it has – usually high traffic is in multiniche segment and is barely targeted ). And also market value per customer matters. 5 sales of plastic surgeon brings much more to advertiser them 500 sales of 1$ gadget e-shop or 10$/ year online service.

The problem is what traffic will convert on these. I so far found no traffic that works.I have excellent income from domain parking but not this .
