Provide your input on the best domain name forums.
Are you one of the 1,000 people who have already taken the 6th Annual Domain Name Wire Survey?
That’s how many people have participated in the survey already, and one of the questions they’re answering is “which domain forum is best?”
Last year DNForum took home the most votes. The popular gathering spot for domainers has taken home the top prize 4 out of 5 years on the survey. NamePros came in second, and the private Domain Boardroom came in third.
If nothing changes in the waning weeks of the survey, you’ll see results for the domain forum question very similar to last year.
The last day to submit your survey is February 5.

Hello Andrew,
That is an easy question! It is RICKS BLOG! ERR! Oh you mean he changed from forums to Blogs? SMART MOVE That guy always spots trends early!

Just finished the survey!
thanks – I almost forgot about it

NamePros for starters and DBR for advanced members. I’ve always believed in the Internet as a free place for everyone to participate and learn from each other. Ads and donations are OK (I’ve always loved the Wikipedia model), but IMO forums must remain free.

Hi Andrew, you link “Domain Boardroom” to domainforum.com instead of domainboardroom.com
Andrew Allemann says
@ DomainersChoice – thanks, it’s fixed

Hi
To simply say or ask, “which domain forum is best” in this day and age… is comparable to asking “which domain parking service is the best”.
So it depends on what you’re after or looking for.
As “Joe” hinted on above, maybe it depends on what “level” you are in terms of accomplishments, sales, etc. or what level you are “perceived to be”…within the domain community or business.
That too, may determine which forum you think is best “for you” at this stage of your “domaining mentality” or level of comprehension/progress.
Do you want to be where the “horses speak”, or where others talk about what they said?
imo…

Very smooth to not include a “worst Registrar” category, since they all advertise on your blog.
Andrew Allemann says
@ Louise – and who would that be?
